The redheaded convergence.

I, for those of you who are unaware, am of the red hair tinted variety of human beings, and myself along with a fellow redheaded compadre of mine decided that, you know, since we were both scheduled to be in the Netherlands  during the once-a-year event that is the Redhead Festival, we might as well go.  We decided, we worked out the details, and somehow we wound up in Breda, home of the Redhead Festival, along with ~1600 other redheads.  The redhead festival, for those of you how don’t research such things in your spare time, is the largest gathering of redheads worldwide meant to celebrate, well, having red hair.  Included in the weekend-long festivities were such events as:

Live bands
Fashion shows
A reading on the history of red hair and its depiction through the ages
Magic shows
Bounce houses (for the kids)
Pub crawls
Air balloon flights
A stylists that suits your hair to the perfect complimentary shade to wear
Alice in Wonderland-themed high tea
Photo Exhbition
Being Ginger: The Film
Speeddating
Picnic in the Park
Individual Photo Shoots
Impromptu Makeovers
Latin dance instructions
Beauty bootcamp
High heel street race
Cocktail workshop
Wine tasting

Whilst walking, we even spotted some wakeboards in the canal and, emerging spectacularly out of the water, 2 individuals sporting water jetpacks.
